Enrico Finazzi Agrò (graduated in medicine in 1993) is Assistant Professor at the Department of Experimental Medicine and Surgery at the University of Tor Vergata and Director of the Functional Urology and Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit at the Policlinico Tor Vergata University Hospital in Rome. He is also in charge of the Neuro-Urology Units at the Santa Lucia Rehabilitation Hospital in Rome and the CPO Spinal Hospital in Ostia (Rome). He serves as President and President-Elect of the Italian Society of Urodynamics (Società Italiana di Urodinamica – SIUD) and is a member of the “Urodynamics” and “Promotion of Neuro-Urology” committees of the International Continence Society (ICS). He is responsible for the newsletter of the Italian Society of Urology (Società Italiana di Urologia, SIU) “Futuro.”
His research interests mainly focus on functional urology (neuro-urology, female urology and male LUTS) and urologic oncology. His research focuses on neurological lower urinary tract function and dysfunction; neuromodulation; new technologies; urodynamics; high-energy focused ultrasound; and laparoscopic surgery for prostate cancer. He is the author of more than 40 indexed articles and chapters in books and more than 200 publications in presentations at national and international congresses.
