V\u00e9ronique Ph\u00e9, MD, PhD, is a professor of urology at Sorbonne University in Paris, based at the Tenon Teaching Hospital. After completing her medical degree at Sorbonne University in Paris, she spent a year in London to train in functional urology and neuro-urology. She has developed skills in reconstructive and minimally invasive surgery, including robot-assisted laparoscopic procedures used for patients with neuro-urological problems and incontinence.<\/p>\n
Prof. Ph\u00e9 is actively involved in the French and European urological community through her positions and responsibilities, such as Chair of the Young Academic Urologists Group on Urology. Functional Urology at the EAU, member of the EAU Guidelines Panel on Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms in Women, member of the Board of Directors of the EAU European Scholarship Program (EUSP), Chair of the Neuro-Urology Committee of the French Urological Association (AFU), Vice President of the French College of Urology, and Secretary General of GENULF (Francophone Group of Experts in Neuro-Urology).<\/p>\n
She is a member of the editorial board of the British Journal of Urology International and the World Journal of Urology. She is editor-in-chief of the EAU UroLUTS platform. She is also a member of the Scientific Committee of the Congress of the French Urological Society.<\/p>\n
In addition to her clinical and academic activities, her basic research involves understanding urothelial carcinogenesis in the neurogenic bladder.
